My best moment while playing on PokerStars was probably making it to a final table of the $100K privilege/depositor freerolls. These games happen about 3-4 times a day and you can do a couple a rebuys if you bust out, but I don't since then it wouldn't be a freeroll anymore. :) I had been playing these games for a while now and usually I would go out very early or every so often make a tiny min cash for a couple of pennies. Obviously there are quite a high number of entrants, sometimes up to 25k people and since it's a freeroll, the gameplay is kind of loose. Okay really loose, as in multiple people have no problem shoving with any two cards, such as pocket king four or even 6 high. Normally this sounds like a good thing, but most of the time it isn't because everyone is doing it and it's hard for a good hand to hold, even aces.
I made the final table of the 100K a couple of months ago and I know making a final table of a freeroll, isn't that big a deal, but this one had almost 20k people in it, so it felt pretty good to outlast almost everyone and it's the farthest I've been before. I had kind of given up hope that I would make any real money in these games, but somehow I managed to finish 4th place for about $120. For a while, I thought I was actually going to win this one, since I had a huge chip lead with about 15 people left. I have no idea how I got that many chips, since for most of the game I had a below average chip stack. However a few bad beats and a few bad plays by me, trying to bully people around with my chip stack, sealed my place. The hand I went out on was set over turned set. I had pocket 10's and just called a small raise by my opponent, who I think was the chip leader, since I didn't really want to play the hand because I was in third place and 4th place had only a couple of chips left, so I was willing to fold hoping the short stack would go out soon. A ten came on the flop and with no possible draws, it made me think I was a lock to win this hand. I didn't want to let my opponent get lucky and hit runner runner or something so I decided to go all in. To my shock my opponent called and showed pocket queens, then a queen came on the turn. That did hurt a bit. Actually it hurt a lot.
I can't complain too much, since I had nothing to lose since my buy-in was zero :) I also had a couple of poker friends railing me and rooting me on, which was really nice. Now I haven't come anywhere close to repeating that success that I had, but I keep trying. It always feels good have a nice win every so often.

Superbowl 5k freeroll
Would have been nice to win this one. 1st place was $1300. Only managed to get 30th place for $37.5 on Carbon. Tried playing some $5 SnGs/tourneys and managed to lose most of my roll. Have to regroup and figure out what to do with my last $8

Carbon Cardschat freeroll
It's about to start...donk out early or bubble boy?
Well I donked out early. 34/52 or something like that. Couldn't fold Ace high.

World Blogger Championship of Online Poker (WBCOOP)
PokerStars is once again holding their WBCOOP series. They are also giving away some great prizes to some lucky bloggers. So this is my entry and here is what I would do with the $5,000 prize for Best Blogger:
I'd put it in the bank :) Well at least I would at first. I don't think I'd make any big purchases. I pretty much have all the things I need. I could upgrade my computer or buy a bigger TV, but I don't think I would. I should use the money to fix my car, which was a lemon for as long as I've owned it. But I think that would just be throwing the money away.
I guess I'd use some of the money to take a trip somewhere. There are a lot of nice vacation spots, but I guess my first choice would be to go to Las Vegas. Flights and hotels to Vegas aren't that expensive, because I guess they expect you to lose a lot of money there. So I'd stay at one of the nicer hotels, where all the action is. I always wanted to go Las Vegas, but I've never been. Seems like an exciting place. I probably would go during the WSOP this year. Even though I would like to, I'm not sure if I'd play any of the events. I could try to use some of the money to satellite into an event. But the thing is that I'm not really much of a live player, so it probably wouldn't be that great of an idea to buy directly into an event. It would be too risky. Plus I'd be too nervous. I'd just love to see some of the main event being played out, even if wasn't in it. I'd hope to meet my favorite poker pros like Phil Helmuth and Daniel Negreanu. Meeting Liv Boeree and Vicky Coren would be sweet too :) So using the money to go to Las Vegas and relaxing in a nice hotel for a couple of days would be great.
With the rest of the money, I'd play the Sunday Storm every week this year and the Sunday Million at least 4 or 5 times this year. I've played the Sunday Million before, but never got anywhere near close to cashing. I bought in once directly and satellited another time. So getting 5k and getting to play in the Million without having to risk my own money would be awesome. It would hopefully take some of the pressure off. I watch the Sunday Million almost every week and I dream of actually playing and cashing with the hopes of making the final table. I know everyone wants to win the Sunday Million, but I am confident that one day it will happen for me. It has too!!!
So with that I say good luck to everyone playing in this year's WBCOOP. There are 30 tournaments. But as usual, I'm going to be sticking to the No Limit Hold'em ones. One time!!!

PokerStars 100k depositor freerolls
Well PokerStars is having this promotion:
http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/promotions/depositor-freerolls/
I don't have much of a roll on Stars, so I've been trying not to rebuy in these freerolls. My best result is 200 something out of 25k for about $2. The money only gets good at the final table. Gonna try to make it there.
